One of the greatest problems in today's social media saturated market, is getting potential followers to see your work. That is why having memorable photos should be your number one priority. Being able to connect to, and improve interaction with your audience, is now critical to your success in this digital world.
Delicious Photography is a handbook brimming with tips, information, beautiful photography, and practical worksheets to boost your food blogging venture, in an easy, simple to read, magazine-style format. It is not about cameras and complicated technical issues, although it includes some critical basics. It is, however, about creativity and imagination and how to market your business and present food photos that stand out from the crowd - and look as delicious as it tastes!
A handbook compacts the time necessary for students to absorb and understand information by means of a very practical application. It allows students to reach their goals faster and is a more enjoyable way to learn.

I've known Annie for many years as we are both photographers concentrating on meeting the market needs for excellent photography. However, what I have always been impressed with (and have never managed to reproduce in my own work) is her skill in creating immaculate and enticing food photography. It seems so simple to create a nice vibrant image of a plate of food with some styling elements, but, trust me, it is not! To not only create enticing imagery of food and then to make you feel like you can smell and taste the food as though it is placed in front of you is a skill I have never been able to master on my own. And now, Annie has distilled all that knowledge and experience into a comprehensive, but easy to read, handbook. And not only that, she has expanded well beyond the photography aspects to explain about the best way to work through what you are really trying to achieve with your business and how great photography can help you expand your audience and ultimately, your success.
I have learned so much just reading the book and can't wait to get started on using all the ideas and approaches she suggests in my own work!

I've known Annie a good number of years, first introduced through the medium of stock photography and video, I have seen her talents grow and sharpen to become an expert in her choice of topics, predominantly food. Having been lucky enough to be allowed to read through this new guidebook it is safe to say that anyone with even a fleeting interest in food photography is in excellent hands when starting on their food photography journey - which is quite specialist compared to other forms.
Annie has broken down the psychology of what it takes to enhance your skillset in food photography, from colours, textures, set design and lighting through to technicalities of camera operation. There are useful worksheets to help everyone document their progress as they make their way through this knowledgeable guide, which I personally believe is an excellent way to journal for anyone starting this particular subject matter.
With Annie's compassionate wording and simple to understand methods, it is easy to understand how she got to such a great position in shooting food as subject matter, and she wants you to succeed too. Overall, this is an excellent guidebook for anyone starting in food photography and you won't go wrong with someone like Annie guiding you each step. Happy reading.

Milleflore Images has been selling photography for over 10 years. With diplomas in photography and graphic design, a Bachelor of Business and a background in accounting, marketing and consulting, owner Annie's aim is to assist food bloggers with the most helpful tips and advice to create delicious images that help them stand out from the crowd.
Her philosophy has always been, 'when they zig, you zag', and she went on to sell over 200,000 photos and videos by offering imagery that was different to the typical generic stock available at that time.
"When I first started, everyone was shooting white backgrounds, so I decided to shoot color. To my surprise, I made my first 100 plus downloads in a single day only three months after I started, just by being different. Primarily, what you need are photos that stand out from the crowd."
